I'll Be There is the sixth book in Samantha Chase's Montgomery series. The characters and their journey set this book apart from the other books in the series. I'll Be There examines what happens when a driven businessman and athlete is severely injured in a sports- related accident. Zach's journey takes him from denial, recovery and finally acceptance as he comes to terms with the fact that he almost died. The author offers a realistic portrayal of a bitter, independent man who doesn't want assistance from anyone until he accepts his situation and chooses recovery over self-pity.

The characters of Zach and Gabriella are multi-faceted and they are very different from the other characters in the series. Although the couple is attracted to each other, their path to romance has several surprising detours. Zach is a perfectionist, he's headstrong and very independent. He is a successful businessman and he loves the challenge of extreme sports in his spare time. Gabrielle Martine is a no nonsense type of person. She's Zach's assistant and Gabrielle "gets" him. She has worked with Zach and understands him better than most of his family members. Faced with losing his position in his company or accepting Gabrielle's help, Zach chooses to work with Gabby. Samantha Chase has created a great heroine. Gabrielle’s past and her family life are brought to light during the story and it’s important for the reader to understand how Gabrielle's past has influenced her and plays a part in her choices.

Kudos to Samantha Chase for writing a well-paced look at the emotional and physical issues after a life threatening accident. Loved the mutual attraction between the characters and how it simmered slowly at the beginning of the novel. I'll Be There is a fabulous story of a determined man and the woman who loves him and has strength enough for both of them. I read this book in one day as I was invested in the characters and their story. And I am hoping to read another Montgomery book soon!

This book is a prime.example of a very strong woman up against a very strong stubborn man. Gabriel has the patience of a saint and the heart of gold. Her boss, Zach, is adventurous and daring and decides to go on climb that is one of the most dangerous that he has attempted. While his family and best friend try to convince him not to go on this trip, he sees no problem with because it is a chance of a life time. Zach goes on the climb, has a terrible fall and is badly hurt. He needs help and his dad and uncle have the perfect solution. Gabriel will take care of him and bring work to his house but she finds a very angry man who wants no help. The struggles she faces with Zach are tough but she is strong willed too and has realized that she has fallen in love. Business always come first with Gabriel but read how Zach breaks through his anger and her strong will to find what they share together.

Another good book in the Montgomery series!!
This story...it helped me change several of my fees on some key Montgomery’s. Until this book I was not the biggest fan of Ethan and not a fan at all for Robert and Zach...well that is now changed. Quite simply, SC is a genius. She wrote a beautiful love story, but also a story that looked at personal struggles, family relationship dynamics and more. Gabriella and Summer are lovely and I enjoy reading more about them. Love this family and how they all come together for the good, bad and funny.
I'll Be There is a story about love that simmers below the surface between to co-workers. Samantha Chase has mixed life changing events for main characters Zach and Gabriella to bring them both to realize how important they were to each other on a personal level not just as co-workers. After a climbing accident injures Hugh, his assistant starts to work with him from home. His anger over his injuries as well as his trying to hide his feelings for Gabriella cause Zach to strike out at her. Because of her feelings for him, she keeps trying even though he treats her badly. So we have trouble that finally finds the love that then hits the skids again before finally meeting romantic success. Lots of family interaction that many may not understand.  I have enjoyed all of Samantha Chase books. This one too I recommend for those who like easy romantic reads.
Zach and Gabriella's story is one of my favorite books in this series. I love how she doesn't take his crap and forces Zach to take a look at how he has been acting. Zach was hurt bad when he fell off a mountain and now he is being difficult with his therapy and not letting anyone helping him. Gabriella has been Zach's assistant for years and has secretly had a crush on him. After his accident his father and uncle come up with a plan to get Zach to start being involved in life. They come up with a plan and of course William is up to his matchmaking tricks as well. This story will have you laughing and crying. A must read book. Can't wait to read more in this series. Amazing book and story. Characters that you love and will just get you hooked in this series.
A great addition to the Montgomery Brothers. I have been waiting for Zach's story and it did not disappoint me. Zach has always had the world in his control and after a terrifying accident, he has done a pity party and just darn mean to people that want to help him. So who helps him gain his confidence back and to know it is ok to show his emotions, is his personal assistant, Gabriella. Gabriella is a very strong person not afraid to stand up to Zach. She has always had secret feelings for him, but was afraid to show them. Now that they are always together things will heat up. Thank you to William on his matchmaking skills, once again.
Two characters that will triumph in life from each other.

This book can be read as a stand alone but it is much better when you read in order. This story is full of emotion, it will disappoint the reader.
